We got some good work done today, IDK (Indestructo-kiddo) and I got the dishes done, the car washed (he did it himself!) made another maybe-quart of applesauce to be canned tomorrow and cleaned the Ritual Room.
That...was exhausting. I swept the floor, cleared out all the trash, corralled the kitty stuff into one section, set up a Meditation Corner with floor pillows, cleaned the snake cage, gave Sheshanaga some steam time in the shower & burned many candles. Found ex SLB's Book of Shadows, that's a very angry three ring binder. I don't blame it, it was abandoned when he left and you don't DO THAT to Books of Shadows. But it can't stay in my Ritual Room gumming up the works. IDK put it in a black duffle bag to give back to ex SLB at some point.
Once the Ritual Room was being balanced and purified and strengthened and protected by the candles, I walked the house with my incense holder and the Druid resin incense and reinforced the house. Then I left the candles to burn out and finish the job and curled up on the couch. That familiar "cold" sensation settled in my chest, I made a cup of Cure for What Ails You and crashed on the couch. Tomorrow I will eat the leftover chicken soup. Not sure if this is me catching what the kiddos had or an over-exuberant allergic reaction to all the dust I swept up or reacting to the flu shot I got on Tuesday. All are possible. I'm putting myself to bed. Sleep is good.
