Another update! *gasp*
Between two feedings, 6 pm and midnight on April 4th, Becca gained nearly a whole ounce.
On BREAST MILK!!!!!!!
*does the happy, happy, lactating, "I can feed my baby!" dance*
Her IV will come out sometime today, probably after rounds. Now all she needs to do is keep eating well and figure out how to stay warm in room air. No timeframe has been sent, Mother A is gunning for this Saturday.
I, myself, am expecting next week. Medicaid cleared her to stay until April 16th. An early release would be nice, but the docs aren't going to rush her.
Time to go pump! These barely-A boobies are actually doing their job!
