It's a conspiracy, I tell you!
So, no ounce of sympathy for my slow slide out of geekiness. No. All the females say "Do it now!" and "We want pictures!"
Cuteness isn't 2 years old yet. Attention span varies depending on what she's doing, but I can tell you she won't sit still for tea and cookies when she hasn't mastered standard cup drinking yet.
I've got about two years to get this insanity under control. Maybe 1, if she shows more dexterity b/t 2 and 3.
Heh.
I LOVED tea parties as a kid. I had/may still have a British-made china tea set with red and pink roses on it, enough for four guests. I had so much fun with it, but I also remember when I was about 8 or 9 and hosting a tea party for a little friend of mine who had never had a tea party. I got bored and wandered off after the first round, leaving her to finish the second pot by herself.
...
I just had an image of Cuteness and myself in her bedroom, using a big plastic tea set and offering cookies to her Klingon teddy bear. That's geeky, right?
