I went and took a look at the site for the festival. I saw Billy Joe in the video. I miss him. I still have fond memories of him.

Watching the video made me feel sad. I wonder if I would have been involved in this festival if I hadn't left the community over what was done to me. Or if my need for external validation would have inevitably resulted in my leaving the community for some reason.
