I survived the Sleepover

As IDK's birthday is this Thursday, and Ritual is scheduled for the coming Saturday, I gave him a small party this past weekend. Two friends, full reign of the TV and gaming consoles, cake, ice cream, pizza, junky snacks, all the good stuff.
There was one time when IDK came downstairs in tears asking me to send his friends home because he took a playful "I'm going to get you!" seriously. There was another time when I had to go upstairs because the two friends were fighting for real. Thankfully all it took was a verbal warning to break it up. IDK was smacked in the face by a Wiimote during an epic golf game.
All in all, I call the party a fair success.
There's still half a small cake, half a pizza, half a bag of Cheetos, half a box of Pop Tarts, and most of a half-gallon of cake-flavored ice cream. I'm surprised at how that ice cream tastes EXACTLY like frosted white cake with sprinkles. It's Bizarre. Where are the fabled appetites of boys? There shouldn't be this much food left in my house.
Sunday afternoon, once the friends had departed/been dropped off, was spent shopping with Mama A. IDK got three pairs of new jeans, two new shirts, and one pack each of socks and underwear. He then ruined the ride home by pitching a fit over the fact that I wasn't letting him go to his friend's house afterward. (IDK had been suffering what I thought was a massive allergy attack, until it lasted three days and he started to cough. He responded well to the OTC allergy meds, but with the cough, I didn't want him walking to and fro. He took great exception to that.)
He also received Lego Harry Potter, from me, and I managed to get a new Harvest Moon game. Since the fit lasted an hour, despite the loss of TV privileges, I stayed up playing Harvest Moon. I expect I will be playing it a lot this week, as IDK lost an entire week of TV for his bad behavior.
I'm quite disturbed at how quickly he resorts to threats of violence when he really gets going. "Do you want me to destroy...?" I'm calling his counselor today and I'll be discussing it with MY counselor on Wednesday.
