Short update, I'm afraid

I need to spend several hours re-watching so I time this right.

Usagi looked at her friends, gathered at the Hikawa Shrine, with her mouth open.

"Sh...she asked you too?" Usagi demanded, pointing at Minako-chan. The Venusian nodded.

"She came to me about what to wear," Minako-chan explained. The rest of the Senshi nodded, adding their experiences with Chibi-Usa on a Quest to Visit a Friend for the First Time. Usagi's jaw fell lower and lower and she turned to Sarah-Neesan, quietly weaving in the corner.

"What about you, Neesan?" Sarah-Neesan held up an orange and white bracelet, wrapped it around her wrist twice, nodded. "Um, Neesan? Did Chibi-Usa come to you too?"

"She did. I wasn't much help." Sarah-Neesan wrapped the finished bracelet in a piece of silk and rummaged in a bento bag for more threads.

"What do you mean, Kaa-san?" Mako-chan asked. Sarah-Neesan shrugged, measuring purple and white threads and cutting to size.

"She asked about American procedures for visiting. I told her I couldn't speak for Americans, because I greet my friends with hugs, even the ones I've just met," Sarah-Neesan looked up and winked at Usagi. "Your culture isn't big on hugging, Usagi-imoto."

"Oh." Usagi folded her arms and drummed her fingers on her bicep. Sarah-Neesan had a point. She had hugged everyone but Minako-chan, which spoke volumes. The Sleepover Incident had damaged a delicate relationship, and having Amaterasu-sama scold Sailor Venus made things worse. Minako-chan treated Sarah-Neesan with a cold formality and Sarah-Neesan responded with calm politeness. Usagi doubted Minako-chan had received the offer of an ear and a shoulder as needed from the young widow and it worried her. She hated conflict, especially between people she loved.

"Sailor Mercury sama," Sarah-Neesan asked in the silence, making everyone jump. Ami-chan jumped the highest.

"Yes, Sarah-chan?"

"Would you please accompany me to the Itsukushima Shrine this weekend?"
