It is not an issue.

I'll still have to look into financing. I'd like to keep my payments where they are or less. Preferably less. I'm going to wait until I get the end of lease statement from Nissan and decide from there. I still have a good 8-9 months.

...I saw red-flags in what you posted that have nothing to do with your car.

I may be wrong (I admit I am hyper-sensitive to certain situations) but please be careful.

In my experience (limited though it is) SMB tends to say whatever he is thinking. And he can get quite passionate about it. He has strong opinions about everything and doesn't hesitate to express them. But I've never felt threatened or intimidated by him. He really is amazingly sensitive and compassionate. He and I spent several hours arguing passionately about the nature of truth in the middle of the night and in the end we agreed that we didn't agree but we both had given it an honest try. I really feel good about all my interactions with him. Of course I only see him on alternate weekends, I've only known him for a couple of months, and I'm not in a "relationship" with him. But I really feel like I have known him forever.

I also saw the red flags, which led me to pacing my downstairs picking things up and preparing for a break-up.

When he returned I asked if he was okay and he apologized. I could see he had calmed down. Before I went to bed he apologized again.

Zahde is right that he doesn't have much of an internal filter. I will continue to watch him.

I still appreciate the concern. I have no intention of making the same mistakes I did with my ex, and it's good to know I have friends watching my LJ and speaking up when their Spidey-sense kicks in.
