Thanks Zahde!

So Zahde sent me a link to My Spice Sage because they had the lip numbing peppers she wanted. I was surprised to discover they also had granulated honey.

Granulated honey is something I discovered in CO at the Asian grocery stores. It's pure honey that's been dried into little balls like couscous. It lasts forever and never crystalizes and NO ONE in my neck of the woods carries it. My Spice Sage also had loose chamomile and peppermint, both necessary herbs for my digestive system I was running low on.

For the record, one pound of chamomile is a lot. So is one pound of peppermint. I'll go through the honey faster, but I don't mind. They were only $14-$15, I expect them to last me a good six months. That's an affordable investment. I also got a free sample of spearmint. I mixed that with chamomile tonight. I think the spearmint doesn't work as well as the peppermint. Smells wonderful, comes across a little...bitter. The peppermint/chamomile combo tastes like a milder peppermint.

I found it amusing reading your post because Ry's GF Abby just introduced me to My Spice Sage this past weekend, when we were geeking over making homemade vanilla extract and finding the best prices for Madagascar vanilla beans. I'm working on placing a big order because I am low/out of many spices.

On a random note, I have been reading even though I haven't commented much lately.

*hugs*
