That's the only explanation I have when she actually runs face first into a passenger door of a slowly moving car on the street while playing with friends, bounces off, hits her head on the asphalt and when I get there about a minute later, all that's wrong is a bruised right foot.

Now my concern is getting more information from the guy driving the car, as I introduced myself but didn't ask for insurance info or a phone number because Daughter Hurt, Must See Doctor! mentality. If the neighbors can't help me, I'll end up paying for the clinic visit and 3 X-rays.

IDK did VERY WELL. He called me as soon as it happened and didn't cry until we were home. He also went back and talked to the witnessing adults and told the doc exactly what happened.

She and I are staying home tomorrow.

EDIT: My neighbors are teh awesome! One of them knew the guy personally, went over, got his address and phone number and brought it over. I will call him tomorrow and explain the situation with the hospital. Hopefully he will cooperate.
