My second summary!
This will cover Sailor Moon R.
R starts with two aliens crash-landing. As they immediately start stealing energy, Luna and Artemis restore Usagi's memories as Sailor Moon and send her off to fight the aliens. She manages to hold her own for two monsters, then the Inner Senshi get trapped with her and to save everyone's lives, Luna "wakes" them up too. Usagi is not happy about this, because she remembered her wish when Metallica was destroyed for everyone to live in peace without having to fight. Best laid plans of Bunnies.
Things get more complicated when Usagi discovers Mamoru doesn't remember a thing. Adding further tangles to Usagi's Love Knot, a guy in Arabian clothing (complete with burnoose and veil!) with a scimitar and white roses is showing up to save Moon in the nick of time. He calls himself "Moonlight Knight", spouts the same dorky haikus and says "Adieu" right before he disappears.
13 monsters and one Sailor Moon Power Upgrade later, the aliens realize what real love is and leave Earth, Moonlight Knight is revealed to be Mamoru's subconscious will to protect Usagi manifested, Mamoru gets his memories back and everyone is happy.
Did I mention R is about 40 episodes? Yeah, there's a second arc.
Episode 14 starts with a pink haired girl falling out of the sky and landing on Usagi while she's kissing Mamoru. Not only is she pink haired, the hair is in triangular odangos and she's also called Usagi. On the heels of Chibi-Usa (a nickname to distinguish the Pink Menace from the Odango Atama) and her floating robotic cat head Luna P, is an enemy from the future called the Black Moon Clan. The Black Moon Clan is after Chibi-Usa (codename "Rabbit") as well as destroy the power points for Crystal Tokyo. Here's the breakdown:
Akayashi Sisters (first four enemies)
Koan: Youngest. She wears purple and her attacks are fire based. Her goals are to kidnap Chibi-Usa and kill the Senshi. She's in love with Crimson Rubeus (just as her other sisters are) and when he breaks her heart she takes it out on the Senshi.
Berthier: Third eldest. She wears blue and her attacks are water based. Same goals as Koan. Berthier is a strategist and she's also out to avenge Koan. Her plans don't go much better.
Calveras: Second eldest. She wears yellow and she has a whip that she can channel energy attacks with. She's a manipulative one that attaches herself to her sisters' missions rather than take the risks herself.
Petz: Oldest. She wears green and her attacks are electric based. She is the egomaniac of the group and often uses her younger sisters to further her own standing in the Clan.
Crimson Rubeus: Leader of the Akayashi Sisters. He channels "Dark Power" and uses crystals as amplifiers.
Rubeus sends the Sisters out one by one to kidnap Chibi-Usa and destroy Crystal Points, areas in Tokyo that in the future are key points for an energy shield protecting Crystal Tokyo. Kohn goes first and is easily thwarted by the Senshi. Rubeus, fed up with her failures and breaking her heart, gives her a bomb and orders her to suicide. The Senshi intervene, sending the bomb to explode in the sky. Sailor Moon talks Kohn into being cleansed and Kohn becomes a normal human.
Not long into Kohn's attempts, Mamoru starts having violent dreams where Usagi is killed in front of him just after the wedding. The dreams, along with a voice saying it WILL happen if he doesn't let her go, convinces him to break up with her. Needless to say, Usagi is distraught and keeps trying to win him back. The Pink Menace uses this against Usagi, driving her into rages by yelling that she, Chibi-Usa, will be the one to marry Mamoru. This gets creepy later.
Berthier steps in for Kohn. She gets a little further and almost manages to kill Ami before the Senshi and Kamen intervene. The elder sisters abandon Berthier to her fate and she also tries to suicide. Kohn steps in and talks her out of the suicide and Berthier agrees to be cleansed. (There's irony in that Kamen STILL shows up and STILL saves Moon and apologizes in his head every time he runs off again. You only hurt the ones you love, Tux boy?)
Petz and Calveras team up to punish their sisters for their betrayal. Rubeus gives Petz a stick that enhances her powers exponentially. It also corrupts her and she tries to kill all her sisters. Calveras, realizing the truth of the situation thanks to Moon, helps the Senshi rescues Petz from the time/space vacuum that Rubeus triggered when he destroys the enhancer. The elder sisters are then cleansed and join the younger two in a make up business.
Rubeus, furious at all these failures, manages to kidnap the Inner Senshi and ransoms them to Moon for the Ginzuisho. Chibi-Usa tags along and helps Moon by destroying the power crystal on Rubeus' ship. The heroes and the Rabbit escape and Rubeus begs another Clan member, Esmeraude, to rescue him. She refuses and he dies with his ship.
At this point, Chibi-Usa knows who the Senshi really are. She also knows that Usagi holds the Ginzuisho. Sailor Pluto, Guardian of the Time Gates, is introduced and explains that Chibi-Usa is from the future and needs the Ginzuisho AND the Senshi's help to protect her mother.
Esmeraude goes back to the future (hahaha) and introduces us to Saphir and Demand. Demand is the Prince of the Dark Moon Clan, Saphir and Esmeraude are his generals, and there's a shadow behind the scenes called Wiseman. Demand reveals that they need the Ginzuisho and the Rabbit so they can destroy Crystal Tokyo and kidnap Neo-Queen Serenity, whom he is obsessed with. Failing that, as is evident by Rubeus, they need to convert the power points around Tokyo from positive to negative energy, thus allowing their invasion in the future to be successful. Turns out they're an exiled clan who didn't agree to be part of Crystal Tokyo when it was created.
Esmeraude tries to corrupt various points with crystal sculptures that are created in her likeness. The Senshi find and destroy the sculptures while trying to figure out how to help Chibi-Usa's mother. Chibi-Usa, after her school is saved from Esmeraude by the Senshi, says she's ready to face her problems and takes everyone, including Kamen, to the Time Gates. They meet Pluto again, who attacks them initially, then helps them through the Gates to arrive at Crystal Tokyo in the 30th century.
What they find is a city bombed to rubble, with a shimmering shield surrounding a palace. Chibi-Usa gets them past the shield and they meet King Endymion, or at least a decent hologram. Here's where the creepy part comes back. King Endymion reveals that Chibi-Usa is Mamoru's and Usagi's daughter. (You could fry eggs on those two's faces at THAT revelation!) Turns out that sometime in the 21st century, the Earth succumbs to an Ice Age that covers the entire planet for 10 centuries. Usagi, using the Ginzuisho, restores the Earth to livable condition and unites the planet under her rule as Neo-Queen Serenity, thus finally stepping up into Queen Serenity's role way back when back on the Moon. Mamoru becomes King Endymion as he was supposed to way back when and the Inner Senshi are the Royal Guards. In this future, the Guards are maintaining the energy shield with their own power and NQ Serenity is entombed in crystal for her own protection, neither living or dead. Chibi-Usa was sent back in time for her own protection.
While everyone reels from this information, Demand finds out Sailor Moon is within reach and kidnaps her. Mamoru is warned by King Endymion that the dreams of death had been sent by him for just this situation. Mamoru is understandably pissed and rushes off to rescue Moon. He gets her back, after a near-assault, and then Chibi-Usa is kidnapped by Wiseman.
Wiseman is actually another entity of eeevvvvviiillllleeee *waggles fingers* and twists Chibi-Usa's memories to suit him. Under his corruption, she becomes Black Lady, a full-grown woman in a black velvet dress and similar powers to Demand. Wiseman also sends Esmeraude against the Senshi as a dragon when she realizes Demand will never love her. Sailor Moon is able to reverse the transformation and Esmeraude is killed in a void. Black Lady opens a portal to the present day and disappears, prompting the Senshi and Kamen to scramble back to stop her from opening a Dark Portal that will allow Wiseman to destroy Earth.
Sapir, meanwhile, has been investigating Wiseman and discovers that they're all just pawns and Demand's dream of restoring their Clan to glory is futile. He tries to warn Demand with no success and flees to Earth and the Sisters. They take him in and Petz reveals that the two were in love. Demand and Wiseman go to fetch Sapir back and Wiseman kills Sapir in front of Demand.
Demand kidnaps Usagi again, (second time charm, right?) and almost succeeds in brainwashing her. Only her love for Mamoru keeps her from succumbing. Black Lady opens the Dark Portal and Wiseman starts his attack. Demand finally wises up to the situation and takes a hit from Wiseman to protect Moon while the Senshi and Kamen race to find her. Black Lady then appears and attacks the group. Usagi and Mamoru plead with Black Lady to remember the truth and eventually, she does, reverting back to Chibi-Usa. Sailor Moon uses the Ginzuisho but it's not strong enough to destroy the portal. Chibi-Usa bursts into tears and the Ginzuisho she was looking for comes out. (This is what happens when you touch stuff you're not supposed to!). Together, the Usagis destroy the portal and Wiseman.
Chibi-Usa returns to the future. Crystal Tokyo has been restored and her parents, along with the Royal Guards, are waiting to greet her. She curtsies to Neo-Queen Serenity, who welcomes her, and then rushes in for hugs.
In the present day, Usagi and Mamoru deal with all of this new information and the Senshi wonder what else they'll have to face.

Rumor has it a reboot anime is currently being aired in Japan and will be imported sometime soon. There's also a live action series, which I need to find, as it will be the first season told rather differently. I saw part of one episode where Live Action Mercury is kidnapped by the Dark Kingdom and corrupted.
