The furnace is still working, huzzah!
It's Friday, huzzah!
I have the house to myself! HUZZAH!!!!
SNB and I are going to Sildar & Ducky's wedding tomorrow. It's about a 5 hour drive and I, being the paranoid traveler that I am, insisted on banking 7 hours for the trip, so we could get lunch and hopefully be allowed into our rooms at 2:30 if we get there that early, as getting changed from the road and to the room where the wedding will be held in one hour scares me just a little.
SNB, being the superior specimen (to borrow from Ursula), agrees that a 7 hour window is ideal, as PA can be a BITCH.
Mama A picked up the kiddos today. Cuteness stayed home because her tummy rebelled quite fiercely last night. We had a nice visit, and she is STILL going on about the batteries. I informed her about the filter and she continued on about the batteries. *sigh*
So, since about 4:30 I've been aloooooonneeeeee. I've watched three episodes of "Storm Chasers", because tornadoes are AWESOME, finished the dishes SNB couldn't, and now I shall pack what I can for tomorrow and take a hot shower followed by a hot bath with various salts and dried flowers, as I have to admit, Simple Abundance was right. Taking a hot, scented bath is MARVELOUS.
I was falling asleep on the couch, might as well get started. Guess I won't need the kaluha tonight after all.
Oh yes! I finished the narrow red scarf! I gave it to Cuteness to wear with her new black fuzzy coat. She is ADORABLE.
