So, that horrendous copay?

It's the entire procedure, quotes in the tens of thousands when PP and every other website I checked said 1-7K. Of course MY hospital won't do it, and because my insurance is through the hospital, they won't PAY for it. Never mind the fees at work would be on the low end of the Internet projections.

*makes all the comments about Catholic dogma*

Anybody have any suggestions that DOESN'T involve medication?

I'm so sorry to hear that. That is really awful!

Thank you. It is awful. I was stunned the secular hospital was price gouging so heavily.

I know you just want the tubes tied, but the religious hospital might cover a hysterectomy for medical reasons. That's the only thing I can think of.

I can't medically prove the necessity and I am opposed to lies in my permanent medical record. Also asked about that with the first GYN and she explained the work arounds. I can't use the work arounds.

I get it about not lying. I don't lie about my disability because I can't afford to lose my insurance.
It's just that with all the pain and suffering your reproductive system causes you I thought there might be a medical justification.

Most of my symptoms would require removing my ovaries. I also want to avoid early menopause. *shrug*. It is what it is. Thank you.
