Yes, still hurts. Quite a lot.

I have Performance Review on Friday. Y'know, this Friday, when I was going to be late because I'm having my furnace serviced. I informed The Boss of this, again, and he said "Be in by 11am."

So! 11 am on Friday, I sit for an hour in The Boss' office and listen to how I did over the last year or two, all things considered.

All things considered, I'm tempted to bring my What I Actually Do list with me.

It's not just me. It's everyone.

Still.

I'm trying to put a positive spin on this, so I don't psyche myself out. But it's very difficult for me to look at my job performance, just in the last seven months, and see beyond the OMFGWTH mistakes I've made.

Yes, the backshop got eaten by a fake anti-viral virus program. I spent about two hours yesterday trying to get it cleaned up, only to be half successful. So, this morning, after I'd completed my morning chores, I did a little research and downloaded the necessary anti-malware software to finish the job.

Saved The Boss an IT house call. I also updated the rest of the computers and ran scans to make sure the bugger hadn't jumped the network.

Here's hoping he keeps this in mind during Friday's meeting.
