Wolf's Rain is continuing to tug relentlessly on my heart strings. It REALLY doesn't help that Wolf is snickering over Toboe licking Tsume's wounds and predicting boy wolf on boy wolf action later on.

It's standard procedure to lick your packmate's wounds!! That's a bonding/grooming behavior, nothing more.
Yes, I'm protesting a possible yaoi pairing. Why? Because it's not obvious. If the pairing isn't written into the story, I want no part of it. AlucardxIntegral has been admitted by the author, so that doesn't count.
