I probably didn't spell that right, but given the current condition of me head, I dinna care.

I didn't get this call, but I heard about it! Some lady calls in explaining her life situation first and demanding to speak to a male. Now, keep in mind ladies outnumber gents in my office by about 3-1. (11 total for the entire department) My poor partner had to explain to this strange person that the adjuster assigned to her claim is female. The client insists on only speaking to a male. So, we find the nicest male supervisor (walked by at the WRONG time!) and ask him to help. He agrees, takes the call, and reports back to us that said client is, well, crazy.

Wolf and I have often commented on just how many women hate women. It's bizzare! "Chicago" is a prime example. Inspired by actual events, that play-turned-Oscar-movie reeks of women-oriented hostility. And it was originally written by a woman!

Now, I'll admit, there are a few women in this world I do not trust or like, mostly because of their behavior towards me. But there are women that I love to death, and I honestly don't understand how someone could hate their own sex so much. Individuals, yes, but the entire gender? Because of what someone did?

Or is it something deeper? Is self-hatred reflected outward to the gender in question so that person doesn't have to face their own feelings? Or is it simply a disgust of your own gender because of what one sees in the world?

No one said feelings were logical. But some defy all reasoning, emotional or logical. Masogeny is one that baffles me.
