Taking a break from the story

Upon reviewing my first critique, (Thanks, Sil!), copying what I have in order into Word, and re-reading it...I'm still thinking. I see the point made, but at the same time, I see something else. This is the problem with secondary characters being used by others as a primary. They aren't as developed, so their personality is open to debate and interpretation. _I_ think Riane would do anything she could to keep Lexx out of the hands of anyone, gamers or not. Up to and including trying to bully a human into doing what she wants. Lexx set her free, now she's trying to return the favor.

This is my interpretation on her character. I'm sure everyone who's read Alien Dice has their own. What I'm probably going to do is send what I have to Syke and see what SHE says. It's her characters, after all. Poor thing has her daughter still in the hospital and five comics she cycles through. Reading fan stuff is not a high priority right now. I may just get to where I want to be, tone it up a little, and then send it. Yeah.

In other news...No. I'm not going to whine about that.

We're stil unpacking. Got the majority of the library put away yesterday. The kiddo's books are still in a box, we need to rearrange some stuff to get his bookcase up. The landlord left a Nordic Track (C) behind. Nobody uses the bloody thing. So we have to figure out some way of disposing of it. Unless someone wants it? I'll sell it cheap!
