Wondering why the hell my "fangirl" post wasn't showing, then remembered. That was in the KEEP! I feel silly now, but considering it's 7 am, there's about 6-8 inches of snow on the ground and I'm sitting at my workstation...yeah. I'll have to go in and modify that later. Get this. This workstation blocks my bank account AND my comics, but not my LJ. I boggle. *boggle boggle boggle*
Anyhew, no, we didn't move last weekend. Good thing too, considering we spent the better part of the day yesterday in CS wondering if we were going to be able to get home. Monument Hill was restricted to chains and snowtires for several hours in the afternoon. By 10 pm, things had cleared up enough for Wolf to attempt it. We made it home in about an hour fifteen, not too bad, and only hit a few really bad patches of black ice. I luvs my Wolf, he's such a good driver.
Then there's the fact that we done got hacked. Waiting on the bank to clear it up, but I can't monitor from here, which means I'm going to have to call them later. *grumble* I like my internet! It's so much easier! That's how we found out someone was stealing from us. I'm sooooo glad I checked Saturday morning. I don't think it's ID theft, yet. Looks more like a simple e-heist. Hee! E-heist. Plans are in motion and so's the poetry.
So, moving this weekend, probably starting Friday afternoon if the apartment complex will let us. They're the ones holding us up, said they needed five business days to go in and clean the place, even if it had been empty for a week. Whokay. Wolf thinks it's to ensure the check don't bounce, I just shrugged. Gumby wants to pitch a fit Dec 1, let him. I'll be armed. Captain offered his gun and I said "Don't tempt me." Blades require more control then point-n-shoot, which in such a situation I would prefer. Then again, never bring a knife to a gun fight...
I'm getting violent again. Hmmmm.
On more plus sides, the kiddo is safely with my mom and will be staying there all week. Yay! We can get everything rounded up and done without worrying about him, plus get some lovin on the side. Provided, of course, I start bleeding. I am exactly a week and a day late, which for my body when not regulated by pills, is sadly normal. If I'm not bleeding by the end of the move, then I have to consider, well...
Too many ellipses! Must run now, people are starting to come in. Darned people, coming to work and spoiling my quiet time. Oh, did I mention my sinuses are giving me massive fits? Not to mention my Eustcian (sp?) tubes?
