I'll take Mental Perambulations for 600.
Jan. 11th, 2006 10:03 pmWhen the story grinds to a slow, chugging halt mere scenes before the Big Battle, what does one do?
Force it?
Turn to something else and let that plotline stew?
Or simply walk away and indulge oneself in thought provoking Labby fanfiction that is exactly NOT what one wanted to read and leaves one angsty.
I could really use a good fluffy romance right about now.
But it's late, there's a Wolf curled up on the bed fighting what appears to be a case of the flu with ibuprofin, spicy Chinese food and peppermint/cinnamon tea, and he needs the lights out.
I know I can't trust my imagniation to give me what I want, because it's too wrapped up in a crossover I'm still getting "Your character is too much like this character" fussing on, which is not surprising, as I intended it that way with the final plot being said character giving totally to her base nature and turning feral, so it really shouldn't annoy me, but good gods, could you people pick something else to fuss about? (No, not anyone in here. I knew I would attract readers that would have no knowledge of one or the other of the series I'm plagarizing gleefully)
I must be tired. Or ill. Or both. I clocked in a low grade fever this evening as well, not to mention my appetite is shot. I'm still a leetle worried about finances, but once the checks are safely in the bank, I'll get over that.
I'm in a mood.
Mood? Mood is for cattle and love play.
*chuckle* Thank you Duncan. Now guard yourself for true.
