Scheduling is the suxxors.
Oct. 30th, 2008 06:45 pmSo far I have two votes for Nov. 8 and two votes for "whenever!"
I know one person can't make it until Nov. 9 (sunday) or Nov. 15(saturday) or Nov. 16 (sunday)
I realize a 5-6 hour drive on a Sunday is the suxxors for those who have to work Monday, and impossible if someone works Sunday.
So I'm making a Royal Decision.
Housewarming Party/Dedication Ritual on Saturday, November 15. Ritual still at 3, dinner to follow, there will be a vegetarian main dish in deference to Bu, and good wine in deference to everyone!
I am not above potluck, as long as people tell me what they're bringing. I accept side dishes, desserts and appetizers. There will be good bread to go with the good wine.
Be warned, my dining room sits six comfortably before The Cuteness' high chair and I only have six chairs. So if there's more then four people coming, some will be regulated to the living room.
Also, if anyone wants to stay the night, I have a very comfy couch that sleeps two if they're not too big (read: Wolf's size) and don't mind being cozy, and a big leather chair that sleeps one. Blankets and pillows, um, yeah, I think I have enough for three, but if you want to stay, let me know and you might want to bring your own. Naturally, anyone who stays over will also be fed breakfast. (^_^)
OK, folks, make some noise!
