Ooo! Guest star Mike Myers! Must watch for him.

Terantino really likes the "Chapter" format.

Ok, you're offically creepy, Mr. Jew Hunter. Very good at your job, but very creepy. Why didn't you shoot her?

Brad Pitt doesn't do Southern Drawl very well.

Ok, not watching the scalping, look! Pretty trees! At least they're dead.

Now THAT is a soldier I can respect. Blessed Be, Sargeant.

Look! More pretty trees!

Why am I understanding so much of the German? Are they even speaking it correctly?

Ah, the obligatory sex scene. Pauvre petite.

DON'T EAT THE CREAM!!!

Still creepy.

Found Mike Myers! Huzzah!

This...could be a problem.

SS in the house! Yep, problem. Augh. Whipping scene. I hate those.

Oh, fuck. He fucked up. That's not how they signal "three". How do they do it? *plays with fingers, looks back at screen.* Yep, cover blown. That's a problem.

Mexican standoff!

Damn, chica.

Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow.

Still creepy and now everything's shot to hell. Good thing there's a backup plan. Oh, wait, they don't know that!

Yay! David Bowie!

This...is a suicide misison, isn't it?

Yep, busted. That's terrible Italian, btw.

Strangulation really is an intimate way of killing someone.

Oh, look, the pretty boy that's been annoying the entire movie is going to do something stupid. Well, ok then. Does this mean the cue is ruined?

Yep, still creepy and completely opportunistic.

Oh. Guess not.

Now you kill Mr. Creepy, yes? Yes? ... No. Well, ok then. At least he's branded.

On the whole, I don't feel Inglorious Bastards was as graphic as other Terantino movies. Then again, my definition of "graphic" seems to be different then other people's. I thought Kill Bill was pretty graphic, but both Wolf and Zahde seem to think it was gratioutous. Lots of violence instead of specific kinds of violence. Meh. *shrug*

Eto, the wonderful artist of Mory's Education (google it! NOW!), is still taking art commissions. I already have one, it's where this avatar comes from, where my two favorite characters share a dance in the moonlight. Lilly is the bubbly, cheerful, pagan, fennic fox poet. Guyth is the gloomy, angsty, butterfly poet. They are two sides of the same coin. He's hopelessly in love with her, and she has learned to like him (source of many jokes in the comic), but he won't speak of it and she's clueless. Hence, the dance picture was named "Never".

I contacted Eto in June in the hopes of getting another commission. It came just in time for Wolf's birthday. I've put it behind a cut as it is not as large as I thought. (click twice on the picture to get a good look at the details, they're GORGEOUS)

Maypole )

I sent a copy to Wolf, he called it "dirty". Once he explained, I was blushing. What caught my attention was the expression on Guyth's face. It's EXACTLY the same look Wolf still gives me.

So, fellow pagans and various artists, what do YOU think?

(the two in the background are Mory and Randy. Mory's the main character and Randy's her loverboy.
