I did my nails today.
Jan. 11th, 2013 04:00 pmSNB was surprised and chose the rose polish. Zahde, I think you're a bit to blame for this, you and your hot pink/deep purple shiny nails.
My nails are now pretty.
Cuteness is much improved. What I thought was Xopenex was actually a steroid concoction for the nebulizer. I could have sworn the docs from the Asthma Event last April, which landed her in the hospital for three days, had said it was Xopenex. Then again, my memory is not of the good. Fortunately, I'm seeing no adverse side effects from 5 days of steroid treatments every 4-8 hours. I will continue to watch her for behavior changes or any other adverse effects. The school will administer albuterol if I send it in with her on Monday as needed.
At this point, she's coughing much less frequently and much less harshly. I'm going to knock her back to a treatment at night before bed until Monday.
I'm feeling restless and edgy. Part of it is because I have class today and I'm eager to get to work on my ICD-9-CM reference book. I did most of the reference questions from my actual text book for one chapter and the ICD-9-CM is an easy book to use. I'd rather start working on longhand diagnoses and condensing those into the ICD codes and see how I do. My confidence is back with this class. A&P kicked my butt.
I got all the laundry done and my room picked up. IDK has a sidewalk to shovel. I will eventually have to get a replacement piece of glass for the back door, as he knocked the lowest one out earlier in the week from slamming the door. I have no idea how much this will cost or even where to go.
I think I need some girl time. An hour yesterday to run errands and do a bit of impulse shopping wasn't enough. Then again, I could just be hungry.
Oh, I got the bill for the ambulance ride to the ER. $800+ That's going to wait for the tax return.
