The Garden Peon
Jun. 7th, 2014 02:47 pmhas finished the bottle border! For the most part, anyway. I'm not sure I'm going to extend it all the way to the rose bush, which is COVERED in buds and will be spectacular in a week or three.
I have a begonia! One little cluster of begonia leaves is all that has sprouted from my bulb planting. In other news, the weeds have been greatly reduced! There's a thick cluster at either end of the front bed, but those can be removed over time.
IDK & SLB dug out about 30 patio bricks from the back yard. I planted Cuteness' bean plant in a cleared section of the left bed. The rabbits have been enjoying the leaves. *sigh*
All things considered, I might actually have the time and energy to start tackling the back yard next month. Might. We shall see. Most weekends are being spent at the lake house now, but I do get Saturday mornings to dig and dig and weed and weed. Next weekend SLB has to work, so I'll have that much more time.
We shall see.
