Rain is good.
Jun. 9th, 2015 03:45 pmRain is good for the garden. It may or may not be keeping the bunnies away. I am not seeing more damage, so *fingers crossed*
In other news, Jazz Cat still has not learned to stop bolting the front door. He escaped into the rain today while I talked to the first of a few contractors to get the porch fixed/replaced. After explaining what I wanted, he took measurements and said I'd get an estimate mailed to me in a few days. Another contractor should be calling me back tonight. I can't take any more time off work for this, so it will have to be evening/weekends.
After he left, I called Jazz Cat and he came bounding out of the back yard wet. I scolded him, scooped him up and carried him inside. I took a dry washcloth to his fur. I do not think he has learned his lesson.
