So ends another Excellent Adventure
Jul. 31st, 2015 10:44 amThis morning Cuteness found Sheshanaga. She tells me she "thinks" she found him because she can see his scales. I go into her room and he's draped himself over her little plastic kitchen. I congratulate her and take a few minutes convincing Sheshanaga to LET GO of the plastic and no, really, he'll be much more comfortable around my shoulders.
I take him downstairs and place him in his new cage. Jazz-cat is VERY CURIOUS about this long moving Thing when there's glass betwixt it and him, not so brave when it's hissing at him. He also jumped on top of the new cage. I sprayed him with water until he got off, he was quite damp along one side. I set up the lights and turned on the daytime one and wrapped a blanket around the back of the cage. Tonight I will drop a piping hot mousie through the snifty feeding slot in the top of the cage.
This cage has a stronger, better lid. I do not anticipate future escapes unless someone leaves the feeding door open. It won't be me.
