Ok, Tech Friends, I need some help.
Jan. 3rd, 2016 03:15 pmI am trying to set up a virtual Windows box on my Airbook so IDK (Indestructo-kiddo) can play Assassin's Creed 3 through Steam. I don't want to have to pay for a Windows license if I can avoid it. I've tried to set up VirtualBox, and I can create the machines, but I can't get Steam to download to the virtual machine. Also, the IOS program I tried to download did not have a .exe file I could install in order to create the Steam IOS to attach to said virtual machine. I have tried this both for Windows Vista and Linux. IDK tried to figure it out for himself and I had to end a third party tech support call that wanted $250 to "Clean up" my Airbook. The good news is said tech support found my drive cleaner and I've been using it, after I went through and purged everything I could said tech support had done while remoted in. *headdesk*
We have an active Steam account and have paid for the Steam AC3.
