Happy Early Birthday to me!
Jan. 16th, 2016 07:51 pmSo since I really don't want to install Windows on my Airbook (yes, I'm a cheap snob, quiet you lot), I bought IDK (Indestructo-kiddo) Assassin's Creed Syndicate for his birthday. While poking around the pre-owned rack, I found Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls for the same price.
"Hmm," says me, picking up the box. "I played a little Diablo 3 on ex SLB's account, played a monk for like, fifteen minutes and enjoyed it, but it was his Windows Battle-net account. This I could take the TV over for!" A cute salesman came over and we discussed, okay I talked at him, about Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 and I completely forgot about asking him for an alternative strategy RPG. I'm pretty sure he was simply nodding his head out of politeness, given I didn't finish Starcraft or Diablo 2 due to All The Dying. They didn't have a complete set for Starcraft 2, so I picked up Diablo instead.
It's not comfortable to play the PS4 standing up, and I kind of need to be because my glasses are heavily scratched and I might need a new script. But I made it to level five and got three missions done with my Demon Hunter, as I prefer Rangers to Tanks. I will have to work out a more comfortable way to play. I am also amused the default gender is female on the character scene. Do we know our audience? Yessss. And we even get seductive voice acting.
In the meantime, all of us are a little addicted to the various Creed music videos IDK has found on the Ytubes, and I'm slowly compiling a playlist on my phone. Wakes me up at work!
RPG game over mani and pedi. Yeah, guess I am still a little bit of a geek. Cuteness can get the mani/pedi. She's becoming quite the girly girl.
