Lost my phone at Applebee's tonight. I took the kiddos out to eat because it was going on six before I collected everyone (training course took longer then expected and things were happening with the family). IDK (Indestructo-kiddo) looked, I looked, we talked to the bartender and the host desk and left contact information and thanked the very nice British man for offering Find Iphone advice. (Could not get the finder software to work at the AT&T store due to password NONSENSE. This has since been fixed.)

As I am a modern, capable woman who freely admits her Iphone is her robotic lord and master, I went to the AT&T store and discussed replacing, claims and why I'm paying $160/month for one phone and one line. Turned out I still owed on IDK's old phone that had been stolen twice in about as many months, plus my now lost-and-probably-stolen phone and three phone lines. Also, a claim would take at least 24 hours to process and I kind of need it TOMORROW. So I paid off both phones, canceled two phone lines and got an Iphone 5S on a 18 month payment plan, which is what I had before. My next bill should be about half of what it was, whoot!

And now I have a shiny new phone in a pretty dark purple/sky blue case and the leads are the same so I don't have to buy another charging cord. Unexpectedly expensive evening, but this is why I save my tax returns.
