PT and Fitbit
Mar. 14th, 2016 09:46 pmSo the company, being a health care company, offered free fitbit zips for those who use the wellness website and track stuff and submit reports and such for health savings account rewards. I've qualified for three rewards, including the fitbit. As I have lost the one I bought before, AGAIN, I decided to try the zip, since it was free and all.
I've uploaded the programs again on my laptop and phone and I'm being reminded of why it didn't break my heart when I lost the more expensive one. This is a lot of work, especially when you're guessing on calorie intake and calories burned. I'm still averaging over a mile a day walking, but calculating my PT exercises is pure guesswork. My posture is, as expected, atrocious. I need to start focusing on the belly dancing, that is great for working the core and improving posture. The trainer suggested I stop working every fifteen minutes during the day and adjust my posture, stretch, get up and move. This is a lifetime habit that will take a minimum of three weeks to break. I have eight exercises I need to do at least once a day, working my shoulders and knees to improve the pain and the crackling. This is on top of the news that my bloodwork came back low in Vitamin D again and cholesterol up to 205. Given how much candy I've been eating over the last two months, this does not surprise me. I'll be ordering more pureh tea, that stuff helped, as well as getting back into the fish and veggie routine as opposed to perogies and pork loins. This is not a big deal to me. The kids, well, they'll come around.
The PT lasts for three weeks, twice a week. I'll be doing the exercises in the evening as well. I have dried fruit and roasted soybeans to snack on at work. I brought my cholesterol down once and kept it down, I can do it again.
