In other words, I have fixed my bedside lamp so that it works, but is unstable due to base not locking with body of lamp. This, I believe, is the fault of the person who wired it before me. A tube of superglue will fix this and then if the wiring fails again, I will need a new lamp.

Also, the kitchen overhead light has shit plastic outlets that crumbled when Teenager took out one of the bad tubes. Another crumbled when I took the second bad tube out, and the third held. Another trip to the hardware store for new outlets and more electric skill development are in my near future. W. T. F.
