bloodsong1Could you please be a wonderful friend like you always are and email me some of those baby shower pictures so I can once again get my maternal unit in CO off my back? ^_^ One with me in that hat and some with Becca in them would be greatly appreciated.
For the record, the shower itself was a smash hit. I got lots of useful items and adorable clothes for Becca, and even a few presents for myself, like the aforementioned hat and a STUNNING, honest to gods Japanese tea set from Aunt C. It's black with peacocks on it, lots of gold trim and I confirmed the potter's stamp underneath. It's probably mass produced, but gods, is it gorgeous!
Everyone had a wonderful time chatting back and forth and happily eating the spread Mom, Drya, LA and I put together. Drya's homemade scones were a rousing success, as were the tea sandwiches.
That...was the best day since Thursday.
