Since the Embodiment my dreams have become deep, complex stories utilizing various recent memories and waking me up in the middle of the night to say "WTF?!?"
Saturday night was Airbender meets Titan AE where I was the Archivist, very similar to the Avatar in that I could Bend more then one element, but my job was to design an ark cleverly disguised as a cruise ship to entertain various important guests until the Moment Of Disaster, when I was to send my husband into the Level 3 Shelter whilst I lied about being right behind him and ducked into the Level 5 Shelter with the Water Dragon. There it and I were to spend the next hundred years cataloguing what we could salvage of humanity's records while everyone in Level 3 were put into cryogenic suspension. I didn't feel as bad as I thought sending Wolf to sleep while I worked, as I knew I would see him again and the Water Dragon would be able to suspend my aging processes.
"I'm going to miss him," I told the Dragon as the airlocks cycled closed.
"I know, but I will be here to keep you company. You won't go insane and nothing will have changed when he wakes up." Dragon assured me.
The ship itself was stunning, with about a dozen cruise ship decks for entertainment and the water habitats were beautifully designed in long, swirling tanks. We even had a mermaid.
Sunday night started out as some kind of Robin Hood thing where I was leading a group hunting for metal before the raiding parties found us and we found a stash of silverware made of real silver buried in a forest. We got about half the stash before the raiders descended on us with swords and stuff.
It then morphed into some kind of freaky dam (I blame this on the Dirty Jobs episode watched about an hour before bed) where I was Akane from Ranma playing a reluctant spy and Ranma was my love interest and shelter from the Government guy who was blond and I think from Bakugon (which I blame on IDK's obsessive watching every morning) and man, was he not happy when I sought comfort in Ranma's arms after a chase with explosions and magic and other freaky stuff.
I've been doing the guided meditation right before bed, and I usually fall asleep in the middle of it.
So, what do YOU ALL think?
