I has new door!!

bloodsong1Today one set of contractors came by. I have a shiny new front door that actually locks! My basement has been foam sealed! They found a leaky pipe! The plywood cover on the old doorframe has been insulated and sided over!
Airtight is the name of the company, based in PA. All of them were professional and bluntly honest, which I really appreciate. I can recommend them for basic insulation and weather stripping. They also do roofing.
In my garden, the marigolds have been transplanted to give them more room. They are not appreciative and are starting to droop. I have watered them and breathed on them and reassured them this is for the best. We shall see if they believe me. The cucumbers continue to flower madly and tentatively climb the trellis. The carrots aren't doing much and I still have live basil.
I was going to plant broccoli today, but with construction and physicals and still dying in Don't Starve, it did not happen. I am ok with this.
