Weirdly Bulbous

Saturday was the limo escorted wine tour.

I was super excited for this, but waking up at 2:45 and not being able to get back to sleep was weirding me out. I walked through the garden and sat on the bridge and talked to Indigo and True Blue and we sang "our" song and giggled at the koi. Still not sleepy. So I went back to the room, got dressed and had breakfast on the porch. Pan joined me later and then we hung out in the lounge until 11 am. Chezzie, Polar Bear and Pikey came through and had breakfast. Sildar and Ducky ate in their rooms.

The limo was really nice and our driver a very sweet and pretty woman. Big D's Limo, I highly recommend them for Finger Lake wine tours.

We went to 3 wineries, Hosmer, Thirsty Owl and Goose Watch. I paid for the tasting and I got presents! Gummi butterflies and a bottle of Hosmer's Raspberry Royale. I can get Goose Watch and Thirsty Owl in Vestal. I was smashed by the time we were finished at Thirsty Owl and being the affectionate, adorable drunk that I am, I bit Ducky and Pikey on the neck. They liked it!

We couldn't find a restaurant that didn't serve pizza, so we stocked up on snacks at Goose Watch. I cut myself off after three samples and shared the rest. By now I had been up about 12 hours on roughly 4 hours of sleep and was starting to feel it. So we skipped Montezuma and came back to the hotel. Sildar and Ducky had to leave, so we hugged goodbye and I headed to the hot tub. Polar Bear and Pikey joined me. I was slowly getting more and more tired. We had dinner with Chezzie, wandered around the gift store (more presents! Tea and a CD!) and finally split to our respective rooms.
