And Schindler's List IS too a war movie. It's a story about the eternal war against prejudice and genocide. The fact that it happened at that particular time in history, when Hitler was plotting to take over Europe by force, supports my argument.

Conflict and war are two *very* different things. For example, one is a near omnipresent plot device, the other exists in a very specific group of stories as a setting element.

An eternal(?) war against prejudice and genocide, you say? Cause... they sure didn't put up much of a fight. Even from that standpoint, it seems more like a war against Jews than anything so romantically noble.

No it doesn't! How could it? There's a war going on right now, does that mean "Be Cool" is a war movie?!

Okay, here's the best way I can put this. Germany's holocaust is to WWII as America's social security woes are to the Iraqi War. Major events of the time don't define *every* aspect of the world- or even the nation.
