This thrice-demmed cold has now given me laryngitis. Can't talk above a soft, husky voice. As sexy as some people may find that, it's no good for phone work. Thankfully, my wonderful, sweet, understanding, awesome, fabulous, darling supervisor said I could take the rest of the week off to recover and I'll still have my job come Monday! *happy dance*
So, tomorrow we're off to Sage Woman Herbs for more eucalyptus and lavender oil. I'm also going to try and pick up Marshmallow root if it's not too expensive. It's really good for soothing sore or raw throats. In the meantime, I'm reduced to using a notepad and various hand signals for communication. *sigh* Health insurance would be so nice.
Wolf and I are talking about getting pregnant. I'm all for it, but without insurance it's gonna be costly. I don't think we qualify for Medicaid, prelim investigations show we have to have a monthly income below 2050 and between my check and his unemployment we make well over that. If Medicaid doesn't count unemployment, then we qualify. Until Wolf starts working. Which means three months of uninsured conditions again.
I think the consensus is we wait until one of us qualifies for insurance. In the meantime, I'm wondering if I should just get off the pill. It means going back to horrible periods and rhythm method. *grin* We'll probably just wait on that too.
