Thank you marshmallow root. That stuff works really well! I was able to talk today in a near-normal voice. No problem going back to work on Monday. Although, I must say, 4 day weekends are nice.

I'm currently breaking the scientist code of conduct by self-experimenting. I have heard from sources I trust that black cohosh tea could increase bust size. As I'm a paltry AA (Yes, I've heard it all before. Shaddup.) I'm willing to give it a try. Investigations into black cohosh also revealed it is also good for menopause. Well, I'm not there yet, and I certainly can't drink it once we start trying to get pregnant. But all studies done used tablet forms, not the root itself in a tea or infusion. Historically it's been used also for menstrual irregularities, aiding childbirth and soothing the effects of rheumatism by Native Americans and later European settlers. Odds are they used infusions. Studies here in the US have been spotty and only conducted on menopausal women. Germany has done more studies, but again only on menopausal women.

I'm curious to see if and how it works. Mind you, I'm only doing this to make breast tissue grow. Two teaspoons of ground root in about 8 oz. boiling water. Steep for 5-9 minutes and drink. I'll report progress monthly. These things take time. If I see no results in 6 months, I'll discontinue. That is the length of time all other studies on black cohosh were conducted for. Might as well stick to the same formula, right?

YUP! (I love answering rhetorical questions)

Incidentally... Umm... if it works in the whole "growing bigger breasts" thing, you'll let everyone know, right? Umm... Not that I want bigger boobs or anything... just cuz I'm curious... yeah... that's it... I'm just curious... *whistles innocently*

Janny, luv

I only have ONE ancedotal story to back up this hypothesis for me. As you know, ancedotes don't count worth a hill of beans in the scientific community.

If it works on two females, we have a really good story. If it works on three, it's slightly more believable then, oh, aliens.

Of course, I'm more than willing to accept...volunteers if anyone else wants to join me in my self-experimentation.
