Dear gods, my head.

HAH! Just kidding. Although it did hurt like the dickens yesterday. Probably from all the sun I got Saturday.
So...anyone want to know about the shoot?
Of COURSE you do!
*beams*
We were there bright and squirrly at 0750. Thankfully, Queenie's used to such hours. We hung out until everyone was there (Skipper, Wolf, Goldie, Tactical, Boss-man director, Hero-guy and Second Camera. dontcha just love my nicknames?) then drove over to the abandoned gas station we were going to use as a set. Spent about an hour, hour and a half there before the owner of the property showed up looking seriously hung over. We told him we were film students *snicker* and we'd be done in about 10-15 minutes. He was cool with it and asked us to keep it down.
Wolf took two stunt falls for the camera. I hate to say it, but big guys like Wolf look funny running down the street and even funnier falling. We all laughed, couldn't help it. Every take was run two-four times and Boss-man acted just as I expected him to. "That was perfect. Let's do it again." I swear, EVERY director must do that.
After the station scenes were finished, we headed back to Tactical's house for indoor filming. Ahhh, air conditioning! A must when one's wearing BLACK WOOL. Yes, my suit was all black wool. I did have to do one outdoor scene, but thankfully it didn't take too long. Boss-man and Second Camera were guards I got to manipulate. Migraines and mind control, how I love it! The whole thing took about half an hour, I'd say, because they shot the entire scene in two parts; guards being manipluated while yours truly scampers by and into the house, then me doing the manipulation. Second Camera got my hands reflected in my glasses during the close-up, rather comic-book-y. Hopefully Boss-Man doesn't mind a diamond ring on Nightshade. Yeah, character's name is Nightshade. Created by Boss-Man's wife, who was nice enough to write up some backstory for me. 8 pages worth. It was good, in a "female Bruce Wayne" kind of way.
Anyhew, my last scenes were rescuing Hero-Guy; turning off the radiation beam ("Do a Jedi mind trick thing with your hand."), untying him, downloading info to his brain *heehee*, handing him contact info and leaving with a tip of my hat. I threw that in on the second take just for fun. Everyone laughed and said "Nice touch!" So I did it again, for the next four takes.
I will say this about being an actress. It is fun, if you have the right people around you. I don't look bad on film, especially when all you can see of my is my glasses and eyes. I didn't see the extra 10 pounds though. Pity, that. Boss-Man showed us everything he had after we were done and we all laughed, joked and smarted off. It was fun. Then we all went out for a late lunch.
Hmm. This is getting long. I'll fill you in on Sunday later. Yes, Sunday was busy too.
