As you all know, things have been tight in Queenie land. So tight, that apparently being a WEEK late with the Sprint bill equals two months back due and they shut you off.

BUH??????

Yeah. They bill 17 to 17. Pay before the 17th and you pay for the previous month. You're always a month behind with these people and I'm fairly certain their customer service is outsourced to India, because both people I talked to had thick accents.

I got a little hot, needless to say, but assured them that they would have the payment for June-July on Saturday when I get paid. Our service was shut off by then, despite the fact that I asked the guy not to, because it is our main source of communitcation. The billing lady simply repeated what was on her screen and said "I would calmly remind you that your billing cycle is from the 17th." Yes, I get it. I didn't cuss you out, sweetheart. Raised my voice, you betcha. But I didn't swear. Not that that got me anywhere.

So now Queenie has no phone until Saturday. Thanks a bunch Sprint. Verizon gives you a full month and a half of non-payment before THEY shut you off, not a week late from the given bill date. Then again, Verizon may have actually BILLLED month to month instead of a bloody 30 days in advance.

I'm going to go scream now.

Switch to them and you can call me for FREE...

Double-pay the next bill if you can. It'll shut them up.

Verizon has Canadian outsourcing. While they're not Americans, they do at least speak English.

I second that.

Go with Verizon, then you can call me for free, and I'm obviously more interesting to call than Janny. So nyah.

Kidding, Janny. ^^

But seriously, Verizon rules. No long-distance charges in the country, free in-network calls, and really good plans for nights/weekends, etc. Give it a look-see.

Their customer service sucked for other reasons, namely the HORRENDOUS fees they charged if you went over your minutes. That's the reason we switched to Sprint in the first place.

Ah well, can't win them all.
