After two days, multiple relaxation techniques and calling off one interview for safety's sake, I'm feeling better. The interview was for an admin position in Owego, made while I was waiting at the walk in, ironically enough, and with how horrible I was feeling yesterday, I didn't want to jeopardize my chances today. They said thank you for calling us, so sorry you're sick, if we do another round of interviews we will call you.

We shall see.

I suspect this past week has been a severe case of IBS. I was diagnosed when I was 19. I hadn't thought about it all that much, but after some home remedies worked, I started wondering. I know it wasn't the interview that triggered it, as I left work early Monday and I didn't get the call until Tuesday morning. It could be that I'm about two weeks and a final away from completing my certification and then it's Serious Job Hunt time, along with begging for intern or externships through the school. It could be that unemployment is due to run out any day now, and while Data Monkey is keeping us safely afloat, I really need a full time job. Hells, it could be Spangly Elephant, who has been suspiciously quiet lately.

Well, one day at a time. I have my home remedies, hopefully I won't need them much longer. Tonight really was the best I've felt all week.

Okay, okay, maybe a little bit.
