The illness, we hates it
Oct. 22nd, 2014 09:44 pmSo, that sinus infection? Yeah, spread to my right eye, giving me conjunctivitis. I asked Mama A to drive me to the walk in Tuesday morning, as I wasn't sure I'd be able to see.
"Yep", says the doc after poking my forehead and cheekbones ("Ow" I said), "that's a sinus infection and your eye is obviously oozing. Have some ointment for the eye, antibiotic for the sinuses and take today off since you're working at Peds."
"Right." says I. And I did.
My asthma has been flaring this whole time. I've been using my rescue inhaler two-three times a day, very unusual for me. I took a breathing treatment tonight.
On the plus side, the sinus pain is nearly gone and the congestion is slowly breaking up.
