Curiouser and curiouser

bloodsong1I have been subjected to the oddest urges today.
First, it was a desire to paint my nails.
Fingers AND toes, mind you.
Then, when Wolf brought up shoe shopping for the kiddo (still fighting an infected big toe while wearing sandals, only shoes the kid's got right now. >_<), I had the sudden, strong urge to find a good pair of heels. Strappy, three inch spike heels.
Wolf checked my temperature. 97.7.
Judicious application of mating has subdued the shoe thing, but I've still got the nail-painting thing tickling my brain.
I have exactly ONE bottle of nail polish. A very pale glittery pink, kind of like what you get on the nail base for French manicures, but with sparkles. I have no idea how old it is.
*looks at bare feet thoughtfully*
When was the last time I painted my toenails?
Have I EVER painted my toenails?
I must have at some point in my youth. *snicker* 28 and calling 1985-1996 'my youth'. Sheesh.
Come to think of it, when was the last time I painted my fingernails?
Gotta be a few years.
This isn't gonna affect my geek status, is it?
