So tired of it all...

Mom and Drya had a fight this morning.
Ok, it wasn't so much of a fight as it was Mom coming over, seeing the kitchen a mess from breakfast (with parts of last night's dinner), and flipping out. This set Drya off, and it ended with Mom storming off in a huff and Drya slamming a lot of doors, then calling Lou to bitch.
Bronco thinks it's all about control, two alpha females butting heads.
Wolf thinks it's a new development.
I call it 'family drama' and I want the fuck out.
Sadly, I don't feel I have the 'right' to look Mom in the eye and say "Back off" yet. I'm still the new member of the family and I DON'T want to draw comparisions to Wolf's ex, whom nobody liked but never said anything to him about it. Or her, for that matter.
I despise feeling trapped. Yes, I have a job now, for as long as they'll keep me, but my gut feeling is it won't last. I hatesss the temporary statusss.
There's also the simple fact SOMEBODY has to watch Becca and Markl, and Lou has her own mother in law to contend with. Mom's the logical, available choice, but I feel like she's rushing Becca.
I also didn't appreciate her calling me "Mean Mommy" because I put her off a few minutes before handing Becca over. Damn it, she's MY daughter and I don't get to spend as much time with her anymore. But I wasn't going to cause another scene with two other little old ladies sitting at the table. Guess I get to add my own two cents in sometime tomorrow. Bronco's asked for a talk.
With this passive-aggressive family, I'll give odds it won't go well. But she won't storm off because of Becca. Is it eville of me to be glad for that?

Family Squables

Of course I am willing to loan him, I just don't think that household is likely to take me up on the offer.

I give it a week.
