Beltane is tomorrow.

Still no sign of period. I'm stil in the "grace" peroid, *snicker* from the old days before birth control. For about three more days.
Pregnancy is a possibilty. We caved in a week ago Sunday, although I did make sure protection was used. It's too early to tell.
Last time I went off the pill for financial reasons, it came almost on time. Only a few days off. I'm about a week off now, according to my calculations. *frets*
argh. I'm worried and nervous and trying not to get my hopes up. I want to be pregnant. I really want to have Wolf's baby. Now is NOT a good time. We don't have insurance and won't get it for five weeks, if we can afford it at all. I do NOT want to have a baby without proper medical attention. Prenatal vitamins are expensive. Not to mention the hospital stay and the likelihood of being condemned to bedrest in the third trimester. GAAAAAAAAA!
Aphie, your little prediction is stuck in my head!!!
I need a hug.
Edit.
Talking to professionals is good. I called the local nurse network. Turns out it can take two or three months to get back to a normal period after birth control pills have been stopped. Once you've had two or three normal periods, you can start trying to get pregnant.
I could be looking at another three weeks before I see anything. Time to talk to Wolf, see how we want to proceed.

Date: 2004-04-30 07:58 pm (UTC)I don't know about you, but with me (and a few others I know) being under stress pushes it off.
With other people I've heard, stress brings it on sooner.
It'll work out in the end.
No personal experience but...

Date: 2004-04-30 08:59 pm (UTC)It's been two years since I took a month off. I wasn't sexually active at the time, so my sex drive could be contributing to the delay. Frustrated desires are uniquely stressful. *wry grin*
