So! After harassing Comp ER for three days and trolling the server for data that doesn't NEED to be on the C drive (read: year and a half worth of inventory backups), I have successfully created several new backup folders in the server D drive, which isn't a third full after everything I did, transferred those backup files AND removed five totally redundant programs. The result, C drive is now half full, instead of 98% full and trying to crash once a week. I've even been able to defrag properly! *glee*
Of course, to uninstall those five redundant programs, I actually had to go into the Task manager, find the process those programs were constantly running, stop the process and delete the application before the process started up again. About a dozen times. Yeesh.
Macs are so much easier.
In totally unrelated news, I had a brilliant idea today. I'm going to filk "Mickey" for Rurouni Kenshin. IT WILL BE GLORIOUS!!!
