Voted before work today. Those lever machines are strange, archaic devices. I want one to set up for Halloween and change the party lines to various costume categories and make everyone vote on how they dressed up before they get candy. I will put it on the front porch and have Wolf stand as the "Official" and glare at children that are too small to reach the lever.
I found the balance of "third party" lines suspicious.
There are NO "I Voted!" stickers in Binghamton. I was sad. I wanted to make it obvious that I voted by proudly sporting a red white and blue sticker declaring "I Voted!" on my left breast, thus making people read my breasts because that's the only attention my barely-As get outside of Wolf.
Do yourselves all a favor and do not discuss politics at work. I had to listen to a ten minute rant about how awful everything is and how the economy is fucked up and banks are so unfair and oh, did you know a co-worker is a racist? because I responded to the statement "One President can't do anything" with "Yes, he can, but it will take time."
The racist bit didn't surprise me, as it's obvious to me that EVERYONE in that shop is a racist. I know I'm guilty of racist thoughts on more then one occasion and it's something I work on daily. The guys I work with don't even bother to do that.
Ok, I'm done.
