So we have a customer that's buying a Porsche from us. A 1980 Porsche.
As he lives in Nassau County, he can't be bothered to drive upstate for a car, he's sending someone to get it and oh, by the way, make sure it's street legal when it's picked up this Thursday. Street legal meaning tagged and registered with the state.
Now, NY DMV has a very specific list of documents it requires for registering cars and we didn't get what we needed from him until yesterday afternoon. Still in plenty of time, yes? So I send everything that requires signatures to him, overnight, yesterday.
To his home address, as we didn't have anything else and I didn't think to ask him and neither did The Boss.
He calls today asking where's my paperwork and I tell him and he gets all huffy with me. Dude. I was wrong by not asking you, but wouldn't YOU think to tell us where you wanted everything Fed Ex'ed to in the massive amounts of phone calls and emails in the last two days?
