Do I LOOK like a den mother?

At ten till five today, I meet Rebuild on my way to the bathroom and he informs me that he's not cleaning up after The Boss anymore.
Who-kay...
After I finish and wash up, I hear Shop Boss complaining about the lack of consideration from The Boss and couldn't I put up some kind of sign? By now I'm trying not to laugh and, in a fit of mischievousness, write up a sign that reads:
Bad Alignment is No Excuse. Any male who misses must clean up after himself. That Is All.
Funny, right? Gets the point across, yes?
So I show the sign to Shop Boss, who doesn't get the bloody joke, complains that I target males (gee, females don't leave trails of urine, baka), and then points out that we really shouldn't put up such a sign as it might offend customers and STILL complains about The Boss.
Workhorse, meanwhile, gets the joke.
I agree the sign might be offensive and make sure to toss it. However, the Expectation to Do Something About This has been put on me. Why? You all took it upon yourselves to clean up after The Boss, I hadn't noticed. Yes, I had occasionally seen a wet spot, and chalked it up to water from the sink and didn't worry about it. Why am I the one being nominated to Have A Talk?
I emailed Boss' Wife, explaining the ridiculousness and asking her to drop a bug in his ear about his bathroom habits. Of course, this might have the effect of using a fingernail to carve a message into a granite wall, but I'll have tried.
I work with strange people. And giving who MY friends are, that's saying something!
