Thank you, thank you.
Shameless self-promotion OFF.
From grouchy-tired to half-tired to just plain tired. I think I got three full night's sleep last week. *yawn* *sip coffee* Thankfully, the carpool rides have changed again. Wed and Fri I'm not picked up until 9 am. Whee! Sleep in good!
My commission STILL hasn't arrived. Found an email from Sunday on my work mail asking "When do you need it again?" Uh, today. Told you twice what the date was. Oh well. College student, I can understand. Been there, done that and was zonked even without trying to do a comic. As long as I get it, I'm happy. Hoping to see something today or tomorrow.
Weekend was good. Gumby and F didn't make it down, Gumby had TWO other commitments for Saturday. *grumbles* It's not _really_ being stood up, but it feels like it and that always annoys me greatly. I've been stood up too many times.
I still made the dinner, Wolf broke in the mini-Weber, and we had a lovely meal. Watched some comedy and went to bed.
Sunday was better. I finished the laundry, we went clothes and food shopping for Wolf and we tried the cake I ordered. Yummy! King Soopers makes good cakes, if there's one in your area, I recommend them. We got Wolf two pairs of work pants (he had ripped one pair beyond repair.) and Atkins-friendly meat and cheese and stuff. He's back on the diet! Back and following it correctly this time. Apparently snacking on carrots during induction phase will not do you any good. However, ranch dressing is allowed! Go figure. *happy diet dance* I'm so proud of him. Now to get him exercising as well.
Sunday night I gave him his present. Ooogh. My legs are sore. I had forgotten how much work belly-dancing is. And that's with basic movements! *rubs legs* It was worth it.
Almost time to start work. *yawn*
Oh, one more thing. Started shaving Stubby. Scissors are NOT the proper tool for heavily matted cats. I didn't just nick her, I cut a chunk out of her skin. *wince* We resorted to Wolf's clippers, which she doesn't mind in small doses. She's now sporting a funky looking mohawk down her body. Wolf's a little hesitant to give her back to the chicky that let her get in this awful condition. Frankly, so am I, but we don't really have a choice. They're not ours. If the dad doesn't claim them, then maybe we can talk.
