7.5 hours of manual labor

With breaks in between to be IT Woman and get my desktop up and running (Lost the monitor, have no idea why), eat a slice of pizza and wash license plate frames.
There's a LOT of damage. I took a video of just the front office, but it's too big to email and I'm too tired to finagle it onto the desktop so I can post it.
I am now fully cognizant of just how damn lucky I am. Two of my co-workers are still wading through 2-4 FEET of water to check their houses and try to keep their refrigerators cold with no power. Mama A's basement had about the same amount, as did Drya and Bronco. (They live on Old Vestal Road and were evacuated Thursday when the levy overflowed) Fortunately, it was only the basement.
My basement is still taking on water, but that's because of small holes in the concrete here and there AND there's a broken pipe I found Friday night, but that happened during Irene and I really don't know how, as it was mounted on the ceiling of the basement. It's grey water from the sinks, and it's splashing right on top of the second sump pump, so there's no smell of sewage and it will be an easy fix, once Lowe's dries out and restocks plastic pipe.
I came home covered in dried mud from tip to tail. I can feel a tickle in my throat from the mold and mud. I will be drinking more ginger tea this evening.
I'm still under the Boil Water and Conserve Water Advisories, but I'm going to need those muddy work clothes on Monday, so I'm washing them with a bunch of dirty towels on the shortest cycle I have. Eventually I'm going to need to run the dishwasher again, probably tomorrow. I'll set that for the shortest cycle too. Yes, Queenie hates doing dishes by hand. Deal.
I'm exhausted. Shop Boss is gunning for a complete remodel of the front office area, as we have to tear down the office walls anyway since they're non-load bearing and drywall only. There's noises of moving me into the Parts area and setting up a reception station there, and having The Boss in the other half for Sales. The front bay door is warped from the water, so it will have to be replaced or re-done into a regular door.
It's going to take weeks to get us operational again, if not months.
