Friday was not bad. It was actually rather cheerful and involved chasing children (no real surprise), a visit from Chezzie's squeeze Polar Bear (he wears one on a pentacle. I've seen it!) in which I discovered my cuddle tolerance has noticeably changed, and a half of bottle of wine (which may have contributed to the cuddle tolerance). Wolf's memorial stone is simple and elegant and it completes the site. One of the best $125 I've spent in the last year.

Saturday and half of Sunday was watching His Royal Highness because RBDarkley was called to CT because her father in law is very sick. Very, very sick. Intubation was the last update I heard, and there's still internal bleeding they can't pinpoint, all on top of the double pneumonia he went in for Monday.

Yeah.

He thinks RBD is "weird", but he has no actual objections to healing energy, so those of you who can spare it, please pass it along.

I then get home and get a letter from SSA saying they're cutting Cuteness' benefits off for the next two months because I make too much money.

I can't say I'm really surprised by this. Roughly $35k is way over the $14andsomek they're claiming is the limit. But I made more then that LAST year and they gave me full benefits for Cuteness ANYWAY.

I'm not sure where I'm going to find another $800 in my budget without the SS payments. That was my MORTGAGE.

Oh well. Guess karate is over for the rest of the year and I'd better see about turning off the cable. Mama A won't be happy about it, but it looks like I'm going to need every penny I can scrounge up.

So now I'm depressed, but it has nothing to do with Wolf. C'est la vie.
